Python Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Develop automation workflows utilizing Python to process historical loan and application documents.

• Integrate with SharePoint through the Microsoft Graph API.

• Navigate structured SharePoint folder hierarchies to locate and process pertinent loan/application files.

• Extract borrower and broker contact details, including: Name, Email Address, Phone Number, and other relevant metadata.

• Process both text-based PDFs and scanned PDFs that require OCR.

• Implement AI/LLM-assisted workflows for structured data extraction where suitable.

• Produce clean and structured CSV outputs for CRM enrichment and subsequent processing.

• Efficiently manage multiple document versions and varying folder structures.

• Construct scalable batch-processing and workflow automation pipelines.

• Ensure high levels of extraction accuracy, data consistency, and validation across extensive document volumes.

• Troubleshoot and enhance existing extraction and automation workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 7 years of robust Python development experience.

• Practical experience with SharePoint integrations and the Microsoft Graph API.

• Familiarity with PDF text extraction libraries and document parsing tools.

• Strong experience with OCR frameworks for processing scanned documents.

• Knowledge of AI/LLM-assisted data extraction workflows.

• Experience in designing and creating batch-processing automation pipelines.

• Capability to work with semi-structured and unstructured document formats.

• Excellent debugging, data validation, and problem-solving abilities.

• Experience in managing large-scale document processing workflows.
