Python AI Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• The role entails the design and implementation of AI solutions that align with business objectives and adhere to technological standards.

• It involves utilizing techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) to enhance the accuracy and relevance of AI interactions.

• Development of Agentic RAGs, integrating autonomous agents to improve data retrieval and content generation processes.

• Creating AI agents and networks that can tackle complex problems and engage with one another.

• Employing tools like LangChain to develop modular architectures for agents.

• Designing and overseeing data ingestion pipelines, implementing serverless architectures and Pub/Sub models to facilitate scalable data intake.

• Leveraging DevOps and MLOps methodologies for the automation of deployment and management of AI models.

• Integrating APIs to link AI models with external systems and to log events and metadata.

• Performance optimization entails evaluating system performance, identifying bottlenecks, and applying caching strategies to enhance response times.

• Fostering collaboration with designers and product teams to ensure AI solutions address genuine business and user requirements while promoting innovation through continuous research and experimentation with emerging AI technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in advanced Python development.

• Demonstrated experience with Hybrid AI / RAG architectures and leading-edge LLMs (commercial: OpenAI, Gemini; open-source: Llama 2, Mistral).

• Practical experience with orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, Rasa, or Haystack.

• Solid understanding of classical Machine Learning for prediction and anomaly detection.

• Experience with Docker, Linux, and hybrid cloud environments (Azure, GCP), including on-premises deployments.

• Expertise in SQL and NoSQL databases, focusing on optimization and data retrieval for RAG and model pipelines.

• Strong foundation in API design and integration (REST), encompassing data anonymization/encryption, authentication, and access control.

• Familiarity with MLOps tools and practices (Git/GitHub, MLflow or similar) for model versioning, tracking, and monitoring.

• Knowledge of data quality, governance, and reporting (KPIs) within AI solutions.

• Experience with Azure Databricks for scalable data processing, model training, and deployment workflows (ETL, Spark, Delta Lake, MLflow integration).

• Proficient in using Azure Purview for data cataloging, governance, lineage, and ensuring compliance (GDPR, data classification, policies).

• Excellent collaboration skills with the capability to deliver swift, impactful solutions across teams.

• (Preferred) Experience in RPA and process automation, e.g., Power Automate.
