This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +22 more states.
• Collaborate closely with the Sr. Director of Public Relations and Sr. Manager of Public Relations to enhance the effectiveness of BOLD’s overall PR program.
• Take charge of managing the PR content calendar for designated brands, with a specific emphasis on increasing earned media achievements.
• Compose, revise, and promote press releases and various content for external audiences, including ghostwriting for spokespersons when necessary.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with key journalists to bolster earned media exposure, addressing incoming press requests and assisting with media interview coordination as required.
• Establish BOLD brands as influential entities within the resume and career advice sectors.
• Collaborate with teams across PR, content, social media, and career specialists to generate creative ideas and pinpoint opportunities for innovation and enhanced engagement with target audiences.
• Assist in drafting surveys for internal purposes, then analyze and communicate the findings to the press.
• A Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, public relations, or a related area.
• Over 5 years of experience in media relations, including a solid history of pitching content to the press and collaborating with journalists.
• A proven track record of successfully pitching and securing media coverage.
• Experience in translating survey data into relevant insights for external audiences.
• Familiarity with CISION or other public relations software platforms.
