Public Health QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing and validation of Salesforce configurations, flows, validation rules, and custom objects related to environmental health applications.

• Implement test plans addressing Salesforce-specific scenarios, including record types, page layouts, permission sets, sharing rules, and profile-based access.

• Identify, document, and monitor defects in Jira with clear reproduction steps, including Salesforce-specific context such as org behavior, user profiles, and data dependencies.

• Confirm integrations between Salesforce and external systems, APIs, and third-party tools.

• Test environmental health workflows, including inspections, permits, complaints, and reporting within the Salesforce ecosystem.

• Validate data integrity across Salesforce objects, ensuring proper functionality of field mappings, lookups, and roll-up summaries.

• Collaborate with Salesforce developers to troubleshoot issues, review deployment results, and verify fixes in both sandbox and production environments.

• Apply your public health perspective to testing, anticipating user interactions with the system.

• Engage in requirements reviews to proactively identify potential issues early in the development cycle.

• Conduct regression testing following Salesforce releases, deployments, and configuration changes.

• Contribute to the enhancement of QA processes, test documentation, and testing standards.


⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience working for a governmental public health agency (local, state, federal, or tribal).

• Familiarity with environmental health programs such as inspections, permitting, complaints, or similar.

• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

• Ability to document issues clearly and communicate findings effectively.

• Self-driven with a strong initiative.

• Comfortable utilizing AI tools and technology platforms.

• Practical experience with Salesforce, whether as an end user, administrator, or tester.

• Salesforce Administrator certification or active pursuit of this credential.

• Understanding of Salesforce testing concepts, including sandbox environments, change sets, and deployment validation.

• Experience with test management tools such as Jira, TestRail, or similar.

• Familiarity with Agile or SAFe methodologies.

• Background in environmental health data systems or reporting requirements.

• Knowledge of API testing (Postman, Salesforce REST/SOAP APIs) or concepts related to automated testing.

• Experience with Salesforce data tools such as Data Loader, Workbench, or similar.
