
Public Health Analyst I – Data & Evaluation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Analyze both quantitative and qualitative public health data to aid in program operations, monitoring, and decision-making.
• Assist in the development and execution of program evaluation activities, including the tracking of key performance indicators and outcomes.
• Create dashboards, reports, and data visualizations to effectively communicate program performance and trends.
• Clean, validate, and manage datasets to ensure their accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Support data collection initiatives, coordinating with both internal teams and external partners.
• Identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for program enhancement through data analysis.
• Aid in the development and maintenance of reporting tools and tracking systems.
• Prepare reports, briefs, and presentations tailored for both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Contribute to continuous quality improvement efforts by monitoring program metrics and outcomes.
• Collaborate with epidemiologists, analysts, and program staff to promote data-driven initiatives.
• Engage in meetings and briefings to present data insights and program updates.
• Assist in reporting and analytics in alignment with CDC program priorities and timelines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Epidemiology, Statistics, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Experience in data analysis, reporting, or program evaluation.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and a strong commitment to ensuring data accuracy.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Must successfully pass the pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal.
