This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Planning resources, equipment, and time for commissioning, repairs, or construction expertise
• Oversee client and/or contractor personnel on-site
• Conduct commissioning tests
• Generate progress reports, test outcomes, and non-conformance reports
• Update and annotate 'as built' drawings
• Engage in drafting technical procedures
• Supply external clients with the internal technical documentation needed for equipment operation and maintenance
• Offer additional information as required
• Provide technical support for bid proposals
• Analyze, examine, and suggest solutions for issues related to the obsolescence of GE Grid products
• Test and industrialize the proposed solutions
• Assist in developing inspection criteria in collaboration with clients and the engineering team
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with a focus on GIS
• 5 to 10 years of practical experience in substation commissioning
• Ability to travel up to 75%
• Advanced understanding of electrical and electronic equipment
• Proficient in both English and French
• Knowledgeable in office software (MS Office Suite)
