Psychometrician

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Conducting psychometric activities for assessments and aiding in the enhancement of psychometric methodologies.

• Overseeing designated projects and playing a role in the communication of psychometric research through publications or presentations at conferences.

• Ensuring that examination programs adhere to the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing.

• Performing and presenting precise psychometric analyses and reports.

• Developing technical reports and assisting with inquiries related to examination rescoring.

• Collaborating with subject matter experts and examination developers on item creation and test design.

• Assisting in project planning by identifying priorities, resource requirements, timelines, and potential risks.

⛳️ Requirements

• A PhD in Education, Psychology, Measurement, or a related field is mandatory.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a relevant field is preferred.

• Familiarity with the Standards for Educational and Psychological Testing, along with the ability to effectively translate those standards into practice.

• Proficiency in software necessary for psychometric analyses, such as SAS, WINSTEPS, FACETS, and R is essential.
