Psychiatrist – Part-Time, Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Deliver top-notch, innovative tele-psychiatry services to Headspace patients utilizing a HIPAA-compliant video conferencing platform.

• Complete, sign, and finalize clinical case notes within 24 hours following each session.

• Maintain a personalized database to document proof of licensure, updates, expiration dates, personal information, and more.

• Stay informed with clinical leadership communications by promptly checking and responding to emails.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary care team, which includes mental health coaches, fellow therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, and external care providers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Availability for a minimum of 10 hours per week is essential.

• Flexibility to work nights and weekends is advantageous.

• Must hold an MD with completion of an accredited psychiatry residency - BE/BC.

• Possess a valid license to practice psychiatry.

• Licensure in multiple states is highly desirable, with specific emphasis on being IMLCC eligible.

• Cross-licensed or willing to obtain cross-licensure in multiple full-scope practice states.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in providing clinical psychiatry services.

• Prior experience with tele-psychiatry is greatly valued.

• A willingness and confidence to incorporate cutting-edge technology into all aspects of care.

• Clinical proficiency in psychopharmacology and evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, ACT, Mindfulness, etc.).

• Familiarity with current research to be integrated into practice.

• Comfort and confidence with technology, including various applications, tech tools, Google web-apps, video conferencing, EMR, etc.

• Strong tech-savviness is a prerequisite.
