Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP-BC

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alabama.

📋 Description

• Engage in the integrated care team approach at OMH.

• Tailor the care plan for each individual patient.

• Decide the frequency and duration of patient consultations.

• Manage medications and provide individual psychotherapy.

• Facilitate family therapy, group therapy, and conduct psychological assessments as necessary.

• Choose your own work schedule.

• Available working hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM.

• Provide care exclusively for your own patients!

• Conduct clinical care and documentation after treatment sessions.

• The support team will manage billing, collections, credentialing, and other administrative tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold a valid license in Colorado and/or Massachusetts as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner.

• Experience in working with individuals facing a range of behavioral health challenges, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, substance misuse, and other psychiatric conditions under the guidance of consulting psychiatrists.

• Preferred: Completion of the PMHNP-BC exam(s) is highly desirable.
