This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Perform psychiatric assessments and ensure ongoing medication management for patients aged 5 and above.
• Create personalized, evidence-based treatment strategies that reflect each patient's unique needs and objectives.
• Prescribe and oversee psychotropic medications, assessing their effectiveness and monitoring for any potential side effects.
• Identify and address co-occurring behavioral health and substance-use disorders.
• Work in collaboration with primary care physicians, therapists, and multidisciplinary care teams.
• Ensure timely and precise documentation within partner-site electronic health record systems.
• Provide care through telehealth while fostering trusting relationships with patients and care teams.
• Participate in the development of behavioral health programs that adapt to the evolving needs of the communities served.
• Active PMHNP license in Florida (mandatory).
• Current DEA registration.
• Minimum of three years of clinical experience, ideally in community-based behavioral health.
• Proven experience in psychiatric medication management.
• Capability to independently handle complex cases using sound clinical judgment.
• Experience in treating patients across different age groups.
• Commitment to full-time practice.
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities.
