Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Maryland.

📋 Description

• Conduct psychiatric assessments and evaluations for clients through a telemedicine framework.

• Open to treating individuals aged 14 and above.

• Prescribe medication as necessary to alleviate mental health symptoms.

• Develop and collaborate with clients on personalized care plans.

• Complete and/or administer relevant paperwork and assessment tools for clients.

• Comply with Thriveworks' Clinical Practice Guidelines.

• Consult with Regional Clinic Directors and staff regarding clients, programs, and services at various locations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must be a Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with Board Certification.

• Master's degree in Nursing with active prescriptive authority required in the respective state.

• Familiarity with AdvancedMD (AMD) EMR is advantageous.

• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred; at least one year of psychiatry practice is mandatory.

• Licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners must be licensed and reside in the state where they will practice.

• All clinicians are required to undergo in-house training on ADHD treatment standards, guidelines, and approaches, followed by a certification exam.
