Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.

📋 Description

• Perform initial assessments

• Collaboratively create treatment plans with clients that may include medication, therapy, or a combination of both

• Maintain proactive follow-ups with clients at least once a month

• Evaluate the effectiveness of suggested interventions and offer continuous care until treatment objectives are met

• Deliver various forms of talk therapy in conjunction with medication management when suitable

• Conduct tele-psychiatric consultations for clients located in Virginia

• Establish a self-directed schedule within operational hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

⛳️ Requirements

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)

• Active Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License in Virginia

• ANCC Board Certification

• DEA Certification

• Over 2 years of experience in adult mental health

• Strong skills in assessment

• Exceptional communication and documentation skills

• Driven, client-focused work ethic

• Comfortable in providing medication, therapy, or a combination of treatments

• Personal computer required

• A quiet, professional environment for tele-psychiatry sessions

• Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week

• Availability during operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week

• Weekend availability required

• 1099 contractor arrangement
