Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner – 1099

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Offer psychiatric services to individuals who may otherwise lack access to care.

• Facilitate treatment planning and care provision in collaboration with Fort Health’s network of licensed therapists.

• Comply with Fort Health’s platform policies and guidelines while completing all mandatory training.

• Deliver exceptional clinical customer service through prompt and compassionate care on the platform.

• Provide operational and software feedback to Fort Health’s internal engineering and operational teams to enhance products, workflows, and care delivery.

• Execute medication treatment plans for mild to moderate disorders in a virtual clinic (i.e., telehealth) environment.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary treatment team that includes physicians, therapists, and external providers.

• Maintain the ability to communicate between sessions to support patients and interact with other internal providers.

• Participate actively in clinical meetings, supervision, and team discussions as necessary.


⛳️ Requirements

• Licensure: You must be a fully licensed, ANCC board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) in NJ (NY licensure is a plus).

• A minimum of one year of experience as a PMHNP specifically working with children and adolescents after completing clinical training is required.

• NPI Number: We can assist you if you haven’t obtained one yet!

• DEA: You should possess a DEA number or be willing to acquire one.

• Reliable, high-speed internet access is essential, with a minimum of 50 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speeds.

• A strong desire to work with and learn from leading child mental health professionals in the field.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly preferred.

• A commitment to serving diverse populations and addressing various diagnoses.

• A reliable self-starter who can work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting for a minimum of 3 years is required.
