Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – PMHNP – Telehealth Addiction & Mental Health Care

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Oversee member care in collaboration with counselors, therapists, peer support specialists, and case managers.

• Provide evidence-driven treatment for individuals dealing with substance use and mental health disorders.

• Perform initial and follow-up evaluations through telehealth.

• Offer care for conditions related to substance use and mental health.

• Prescribe medications when appropriate and respond to member inquiries.

• Complete necessary documentation in the Healthie EHR system.

• Collaborate effectively with the care team.

• Participate in occasional scheduled team meetings.

⛳️ Requirements

• Active and verifiable PMHNP license in the state(s) of practice, with an unrestricted license in Ohio.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in addiction or mental health treatment; relevant experience may be considered for candidates with less than 2 years as a PMHNP.

• Experience in prescribing Suboxone.

• Active DEA registration required.

• Willingness to pursue multi-state licensure.

• A quiet, private office equipped with a reliable internet connection for HIPAA-compliant telehealth consultations.

• Comfort with technology, including EHRs and mobile applications.

• Medicaid enrollment is advantageous.
