This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Michigan.
• Conduct psychiatric evaluations for Medicaid patients.
• Oversee medication management and prescribe psychotropic medications.
• Deliver continuous psychiatric care via telehealth services.
• Emphasize patient care while the organization manages scheduling, billing, insurance, and credentialing.
• Work collaboratively with therapists and other providers as part of multidisciplinary care teams.
• Address psychiatric conditions among varied populations.
• Create patient-centered medication management and treatment strategies.
• Advocate for equitable access to mental health services for Medicaid recipients.
• Possess an active, unrestricted PMHNP license in good standing in Michigan.
• Hold national board certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC).
• Have prescriptive authority.
• Maintain an active DEA registration.
• Demonstrate experience in providing psychiatric evaluations and prescribing psychotropic medications, whether under supervision or independently.
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and other digital tools.
• Maintain a quiet, HIPAA-compliant home office setup for secure virtual sessions.
• Fluent in English.
• Exhibit strong clinical judgment in managing psychiatric disorders across diverse populations.
• Employ a patient-centered strategy for medication management and treatment planning.
• Have experience collaborating with therapists and other providers within a multidisciplinary care team.
• Show commitment to equity in mental health access for Medicaid populations.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Reside in Michigan.
