Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, PMHNP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Conduct virtual psychiatric evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and oversee medication management.

• Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications in line with Pennsylvania's scope of practice and Sunflower protocols.

• Educate clients about their medications, discussing risks, benefits, alternatives, and expected outcomes.

• Collaborate with therapists and other care team members to facilitate integrated treatment planning.

• Engage in clinical case discussions and participate in team meetings.

• Ensure timely and accurate documentation within the electronic health record system.

• Uphold quality, safety, and compliance standards throughout clinical care.

• Assist with additional clinical responsibilities as necessary to provide high-quality, coordinated care.

⛳️ Requirements

• Must hold an active, unrestricted Pennsylvania PMHNP license (multi-state license is a plus).

• Possess a Master of Science in Nursing with a focus on Psychiatric/Mental Health.

• DEA registration required (or willingness to obtain one).

• At least 2 years of experience in providing psychiatric care (experience with substance use disorders is strongly preferred).

• Comfortable treating adults with complex, co-occurring conditions.

• Excellent communication skills combined with strong clinical judgment.
