This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
β’ Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.
β’ Create individualized treatment plans and manage medications tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
β’ Dedicate adequate time to patients and their families to deeply understand their experiences, inform them about treatment options, and offer continuous support.
β’ Track patient progress relative to care goals, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure favorable outcomes.
β’ Collaborate closely with therapists and other healthcare providers to develop integrated treatment strategies that consider the entirety of the child.
β’ Offer consultation and education to patients and their families, aiding them in understanding diagnoses, treatment choices, and ways to support their child's mental health journey.
β’ Supervise diagnostic testing, including digital and laboratory results. Maintain detailed, HIPAA-compliant records of patient interactions and progress.
β’ Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
β’ PMHNP-BC certification.
β’ Minimum of one year of independent psychiatric experience while working under licensure.
β’ Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/APRN license.
β’ DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority.
β’ Ownership of a phone, computer, and high-speed internet connection.
β’ Availability to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 4pm ET on weekdays and/or on weekends.
