This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and diagnoses for children, adolescents, and young adults.
• Create individualized treatment plans and manage medications tailored to the specific needs of each patient.
• Dedicate adequate time to patients and their families to deeply understand their experiences, inform them about treatment options, and offer continuous support.
• Track patient progress relative to care goals, modifying treatment plans as necessary to ensure favorable outcomes.
• Collaborate closely with therapists and other healthcare providers to develop integrated treatment strategies that consider the entirety of the child.
• Offer consultation and education to patients and their families, aiding them in understanding diagnoses, treatment choices, and ways to support their child's mental health journey.
• Supervise diagnostic testing, including digital and laboratory results. Maintain detailed, HIPAA-compliant records of patient interactions and progress.
• Master's Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• PMHNP-BC certification.
• Minimum of one year of independent psychiatric experience while working under licensure.
• Active Pennsylvania PMHNP/APRN license.
• DEA license and State Prescriptive Authority.
• Ownership of a phone, computer, and high-speed internet connection.
• Availability to work during Blackbird's core after-school hours: after 4pm ET on weekdays and/or on weekends.
