Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner – NY Licensed

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.

📋 Description

• Perform psychiatric evaluations and assessments to identify mental health disorders.

• Create and execute personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient.

• Prescribe and oversee medication regimens for patients.

• Deliver continuous medication management and therapeutic services via remote telehealth platforms.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

• Ensure accurate and up-to-date maintenance of patient records.

• Stay informed about advancements in the mental health field and integrate new techniques and treatments into practice.

⛳️ Requirements

• Valid NY state license as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner.

• Master's degree in Nursing with a focus on psychiatric mental health.

• At least 2 years of experience as a PMHNP.

• DEA certification in the state of NY.

• Preferred experience in providing remote mental health services.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders, treatments, and medications.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.

• Proficient in using telehealth platforms for remote patient care.
