PSOC Monitoring Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Conduct daily triage of PSOC alerts and assist in incident coordination, containment, remediation, recovery, and closure.

• Aid in the investigation of security incidents across cloud applications and integrated vehicle architectures utilizing available logging and telemetry.

• Contribute to Ford’s follow-the-sun operational model by managing shift transitions and ensuring continuous global coverage.

• Identify operational challenges and provide insights to enhance detection mechanisms, tools, and response processes.

• Collaborate effectively with the Cyber Incident Response Team (CIRT), Product Development, and Enterprise IT to implement response protocols and coordinate intricate mitigations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in cybersecurity, security operations, or a related technical area.

• Solid understanding of incident response cycles, escalation procedures, and incident management practices.

• Familiarity with API security and experience in cloud security operations on one or more major cloud platforms, including logging, monitoring, identity management, and response workflows.

• Exposure to embedded vehicle cybersecurity, or a strong willingness and ability to learn in this area.

• Capacity to perform effectively in a dynamic 24x7 operations setting, including shift-based coverage.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills for documenting incidents and coordinating with technical teams.
