This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.
• Take ownership of the complete proposal process for grant applications, funding proposals, governmental submissions, partnership applications, and other related documentation.
• Investigate relevant grant and funding opportunities, keep track of new funding possibilities that align with company goals, and assist in assessing eligibility and suitability.
• Collaborate with internal team members to collect technical, operational, and financial data, convert complex ideas into clear and persuasive narratives, and coordinate contributions across teams to ensure deadlines are met.
• Conduct research, compose, and refine all sections of proposals.
• Manage proposal templates and reusable content, organize supporting documents, metrics, and company information, and aid in standardizing proposal processes as the company expands.
• Monitor grant and proposal timelines, oversee submission calendars and requirements, and guarantee that applications are complete, accurate, and submitted punctually.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in writing proposals, grants, business communications, or other forms of technical writing.
• Outstanding written communication skills, with the capability to distill complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and persuasive business language.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple complex proposals concurrently.
• Comfortable collaborating across functions in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite and capable of utilizing AI tools effectively.
• A bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field.
