This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +4 more states.
• Oversee the RFP (request for proposal) process for both new and existing business opportunities.
• Establish and nurture strong relationships with Sales Representatives, Brokers, Underwriters, and Employers.
• Assess RFP risks associated with amendments and new groups.
• Negotiate pricing, ensure rate competitiveness, and promote product enhancements.
• Review RFP documents to determine underwriting feasibility, evaluate experience, and ensure proposal accuracy.
• Manage re-quotes and implement necessary corrections.
• Oversee data entry in Salesforce, including stage updates, document uploads, reports, probability assessments, and pipeline management.
• Embody company values and brand through professional negotiations, prompt communication, daily check-ins, and scheduled meetings.
• Partner with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal results.
• High School Diploma is mandatory.
• A Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Prior experience with group employee benefits products is advantageous.
• Familiarity with underwriting guidelines is preferred.
• Experience with Salesforce CRM is preferred.
• A Life and Disability insurance license for all states within the office's designated territory is required.
• Must reside in the Central time zone of the United States.
• Successful completion of criminal background, employment, education, and licensing verification is required.
• Must be bondable.
