This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
• Responsible for developing and addressing requests for information and proposals; collaborating with various subject matter experts (SMEs) to ensure timely and accurate completion of proposals; and overseeing the quality and consistency of responses.
• Reviews and evaluates RFP & RFQ opportunities in partnership with regional leadership and SMEs, coordinating efforts to ensure submissions are both timely and precise.
• Produces initial drafts of each request for various subject matter experts (SMEs) as necessary, incorporating essential edits or updates into the response.
• Ensures the initial draft is compliant, relevant, and specifically adapted to meet each client’s requirements.
• Safeguards the security and integrity of all proposal documentation.
• Collaborates with SMEs to identify and document new requirements effectively.
• Facilitates the internal flow and review process of all proposal contributions and directs the production of the final master proposal.
• Establishes and maintains the timeline for each response to guarantee that deadlines are met.
• Assists in the development and maintenance of proposal best practices.
• Undertakes additional tasks, such as RFP follow-up requests, proposal library updates, and other ad hoc assignments.
• A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required, ideally within a related field such as engineering, construction, architecture, or another professional service.
• A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.
• At least four (4) years of relevant experience, or a combination of education and experience equivalent to this requirement.
• A minimum of one (1) year of project management experience is required.
• A minimum of one (1) year of proofreading and editing experience is required.
• Proven experience in crafting successful proposals in response to Requests for Qualifications and Proposals issued by Public Agencies (City, County, State, and Federal levels), specifically in CA & TX.
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with project pursuit teams.
• Proactive and capable of working independently, managing priorities, and achieving results.
• Excellent grammar and proofreading abilities.
• Familiarity with relevant software.
• Strong project management capabilities.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Proficient oral and written communication skills.
• Computer literate, including proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
