Proposal Quality Analyst, Copy Editor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Perform structured quality assessments to ensure compliance, consistency, and responsiveness to RFP requirements.

• Verify that content adheres to Aetna's style, bid guides, templates, and brand voice.

• Collaborate with proposal writers and Quality team members to offer edits and constructive feedback.

• Utilize SharePoint, Microsoft Word, PerfectIt, and AI-powered tools to enhance efficiency and consistency.

• Adhere to proposal processes, timelines, and quality standards to ensure timely and accurate deliverables.

• Gain knowledge of Aetna Medicaid products, proposal structure, and industry best practices.

• Engage in team meetings, training sessions, and coaching opportunities.

• Be prepared to work extended hours, including nights and weekends, during proposal review phases.

• Assist in advancing internal processes and procedures, which include scorecards, quality business reports, style guides, and performance metrics.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over two years of experience in a quality reviewer/editor role.

• Knowledge or experience in Medicaid Managed Care or government and healthcare sectors.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.

• Familiarity with Associated Press and internal style guides.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including SharePoint, Word, Excel, Teams, and PowerPoint.

• Competence with AI technologies/tools, such as Asana, Domo, and proposal management software.

• Willingness to travel up to 15–30% of the time.

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience is required.

• Knowledge of APMP and Shipley best practices is preferred.

• Six Sigma certification is preferred.

• APMP Bid/Proposal Foundation Certification is preferred.
