This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• MGT is in search of a proposal coordinator to collaborate closely with our diverse professional team and take charge of crafting persuasive, successful proposals.
• This position necessitates a seasoned proposal development and writing expert, characterized by a confident writing style, a keen eye for design, and a passion for proactive communication throughout the proposal lifecycle.
• Manage the entire proposal development lifecycle by working alongside other team members as needed to implement MGT’s proposal process effectively.
• Offer strategic direction and expertise in formulating impactful win themes and incorporating them into proposal submissions.
• Facilitate kickoff meetings, status updates, and color team reviews.
• Create new proposal content as required to showcase new service offerings and address specific client needs.
• Edit and revise content produced by various writers and subject matter experts to ensure coherence and consistency in tone throughout the proposal.
• Cultivate and maintain knowledge of public sector procurement practices by reviewing public solicitations (Requests for Information, Requests for Proposals, Request for Qualifications) and documenting the requirements in a well-structured proposal plan.
• Utilize Microsoft Word and associated software to generate high-quality proposal documents that are visually appealing, compelling, responsive to client expectations, and adhere to internal branding and design standards.
• Leverage Salesforce and various enterprise business process tools to efficiently oversee proposal development workflows, document libraries, and project management communications.
• A Bachelor’s degree in marketing, English, Communications, Business, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of four (4) years of relevant professional experience.
• Experience in responding to public sector solicitations (RFPs) is advantageous.
• A robust, proven background in business/technical writing within a government services or business-to-business context.
• Highly skilled in Microsoft Office, with intermediate to expert proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with enterprise sales and workflow software, such as Salesforce and MS Teams, is beneficial.
