Property Management Assistant, Real Estate

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Manage maintenance requests from start to finish, including intake, tracking in AppFolio, vendor coordination, follow-ups, and ticket closure.

• Oversee and coordinate property maintenance and repairs across various units.

• Assist in unit turn and make-ready processes, which involves scheduling, checklists, vendor coordination, and quality assurance checks.

• Administer lease expirations, renewals, and agreements comprehensively to avoid occupancy gaps.

• Accurately handle rent collections and payments.

• Maintain clear communication with tenants regarding maintenance issues, lease terms, renewals, and service inquiries.

• Oversee tenant move-ins and move-outs, ensuring all necessary documentation is completed.

• Update and maintain property listings across various platforms, ensuring the accuracy of availability, rent, and unit information.

• Keep precise records of inspections, financials, and service requests.

• Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure timely completion of tasks with attention to detail.

⛳️ Requirements

• Mandatory proficiency in AppFolio – applications lacking this will not be considered.

• Demonstrated experience in: • Managing maintenance requests and vendor coordination • Handling lease expirations and renewals • Executing unit turn and make-ready processes • Updating property listings and availability.

• Excellent command of spoken English.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Familiarity with Google Sheets, Docs, Gmail, and Calendar.

• A proactive, resourceful mindset and confidence in your capabilities.

• Ability to work independently while accurately following established processes.
