Property Management Accountant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the complete reconciliation process for Premier, Onsite, and intricate CAM association portfolios.

• Prepare and present detailed monthly financial statements, ensuring precision and adherence to GAAP standards.

• Record journal entries, classify transactions, and confirm the correct categorization of expenses and revenue.

• Oversee bank loans, lines of credit, special assessments, and reserve transfers, maintaining thorough documentation.

• Examine and address complex reconciliation discrepancies, escalating issues when necessary.

• Validate invoice documentation and assist in the approval process for disbursement requests.

• Aid in the preparation of budgets and forecasting activities in collaboration with U.S.-based management.

• Respond to auditor inquiries and provide detailed line-item analysis during audit periods.

• Recognize and suggest enhancements within accounting operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).

• 2–4 years of experience in general or corporate accounting.

• Strong grasp of GAAP accounting principles.

• Excellent written and verbal English skills — direct communication with U.S.-based leadership and clients is required.

• Strong analytical abilities to independently investigate and resolve discrepancies.

• Residing in the Philippines and available to work night shifts (~9 PM–6 AM PHT / U.S. Central Time).

• Familiarity with property management accounting software such as Vantaca, Buildium, or Caliber.

• CPA license or active CPA board passer (PH).

• Previous experience assisting U.S.-based clients in a remote or shared services environment.

• Knowledge in HOA, real estate, or common area maintenance (CAM) accounting.
