Property Finance Specialist – FAIS

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Offer customers mortgage solutions tailored to their convenience.

• Achieve contracted sales targets by providing exceptional customer service.

• Maintain visibility, presence, and connections with all internal and external business partners.

• Engage with current customers identified through the lead generation process to assess potential re-mortgage needs and offer advice on mortgage lending.

• Travel to meet prospective customers or sources at their chosen location and time, delivering mortgage solutions.

• Assist in completing and submitting applications along with all necessary supporting documents to the Production Centre for processing.

• Manage and track all submitted deals within the Production Centre by adhering to the agreed tracking process and keeping customers and sources informed about the application's progress and status.

• Maintain the agreed conversion ratios for application-to-grant and grant-to-registration in accordance with the Absa Home Loan process.

• Continuously seek and explore opportunities (e.g., property shows, auctions, show houses, etc.) to enhance business sources and sales intake.

• Stay informed about competitor activities by reviewing available information (e.g., newspaper articles, marketing campaigns) to proactively provide solutions to customers and sources.

• Deliver exceptional customer service by proactively obtaining outstanding documentation to ensure complete applications in a timely manner.

• Acknowledge and resolve any queries or complaints received from customers according to established processes.

• Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering excellent service in line with the TCF (Treating Customers Fairly) principles, which will enhance sales and retention of Home Loans customers.

• Maximize cross-selling opportunities through value-added products such as property insurance, life cover, and new bank transactional accounts.

⛳️ Requirements

• National Certificate or an equivalent NQF level 5 qualification.

• 2 years of technical or managerial experience.

• Experience in property finance.

• Background in sales and customer relations within a banking environment.

• Familiarity with home loans or the mortgage sector.

• Fixed remuneration for the first four months, followed by a reduced fixed remuneration with a commission structure.
