This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.
• Handle invoices and oversee the entire accounts payable process, from supplier setup to payment reconciliation and maintenance of historical records.
• Supervise accounts receivable tasks, which include issuing tax invoices, collecting rent payments, following up on overdue accounts, and managing casual mall leasing bookings.
• Generate monthly financial reports and assist in budget forecasting activities.
• Maintain lease registers and tenancy schedules, monitor critical dates, process assignments, and ensure adherence to lease terms.
• Administer tenant recovery billings for utilities, outgoings, and marketing levies, including reconciliations and necessary adjustments.
• Coordinate tenant sales data, perform rent reviews, and update billing information.
• Provide administrative support to Centre Managers, Operations Managers, and Marketing Managers, including reception duties and ad hoc projects.
• Prepare and disseminate reports on arrears, occupancy rates, and financial performance.
• Adjust to various property environments and regional requirements throughout the portfolio.
• At least 4 years of proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable positions.
• Ideally experienced in property management or commercial real estate settings.
• Strong understanding of lease administration, lease documentation, critical date tracking, and compliance obligations.
• Intermediate to advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Capability to generate reports, analyze data, and keep accurate records.
• Outstanding organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders across various locations.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to precision in financial transactions, data entry, and reporting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Professional interaction with property owners, tenants, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and collaboratively within diverse teams.
• A professional, proactive demeanor with strong problem-solving skills and initiative.
• Practical experience with property management software like MRI, Yardi, or similar systems is highly desirable.
