This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Virginia.
• Operates under the guidance of the Project Manager.
• For particularly large projects, may take full responsibility for all tasks within a major area. For instance, in a case involving the discovery of millions of documents, a Project Supervisor might oversee all activities related to document discovery and collection.
• In cases that involve trials outside the local area, a Project Supervisor may be tasked with managing the support center for the out-of-town trial.
• Alternatively, may provide assistance to multiple Project Managers on various smaller cases at the same time. For example, the Project Supervisor could be in charge of overseeing responsive and privilege reviews in one case while managing the production of witness binders in another.
• Requires direct supervision of a diverse range of Contractor personnel, including clerical staff and first-line supervisors.
• May necessitate regular communication with Government Contracting Officer Representatives (COR), Case Managers, trial attorneys, client agency personnel, and other Contractor components.
• Capability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Public Trust clearance before starting (candidates do not need to hold clearance at the time of application).
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to perform effectively in a completely remote working environment.
• A minimum of two years of progressively responsible experience in major litigation support projects, including at least one year in a supervisory role, demonstrating strong communication skills and the ability to successfully engage with clients and attorneys.
• Proven capability to supervise and coordinate multiple intricate and time-sensitive litigation support tasks simultaneously, encompassing technical/data processing support and eDiscovery operations.
• Requires comprehensive knowledge of litigation support, alongside excellent writing and oral communication abilities.
• Must be adept at anticipating litigation support requirements and creating and executing detailed plans to meet those needs.
• Requires practical familiarity with the Government's office and network environment, which includes, but is not limited to, data processing systems, office automation networks, PC-based databases, and other applications, as well as internet and server-based databases like Oracle, Relativity, or other document review platforms, Trial Director, etc.
• Familiarity with eDiscovery tools and knowledge of necessary eDiscovery procedures and resources is required.
• Should be an expert user of the Government's office and network systems, including but not limited to word processing, spreadsheet, imaging, and hardware systems.
• Familiarity with ESI tools and knowledge of eDiscovery procedures and resources is necessary.
• An undergraduate degree is required.
• Extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree requirement in some cases.
