This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Oversee on-site coordination for all stages of heavy/highway bridge construction projects.
• Manage subcontractors, materials, and equipment efficiently.
• Ensure strict adherence to specifications while maintaining the project schedule and budget.
• Accountable for scheduling, inspections, quality control, and ensuring safety at the job site.
• Provide leadership and cultivate strong working relationships with all personnel on-site.
• Organize subcontractors, consultants, and vendors in a critical path to guarantee timely project completion.
• Develop work plans and prepare 2-week schedule forecasts.
• Execute quality control tasks and responsibilities related to the work performed.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Dispatch teams to ensure timely delivery of tools and materials.
• Verify that subcontractors are fully executing and adhering to the contracted scope of work.
• Coordinate necessary permits and inspections with local authorities when required.
• Identify construction progress conflicts and communicate them to the project team for resolution.
• Maintain a daily log of activities occurring on the job site.
• Ensure all deficiencies noted by the project team are corrected by subcontractors.
• Conduct daily walkthroughs of project activities to monitor progress and assist in future planning.
• Lead on-site meetings aimed at coordinating project work.
• Ensure that the job site remains clean and organized at all times.
• Take charge of Safety and Quality Control initiatives.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting construction documents, plans, and specifications.
• Capable of understanding documents such as safety regulations, operational and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
• Skilled in writing routine reports and correspondence.
• Effective communicator, capable of speaking before groups of customers or employees.
• To excel in this role, the individual must utilize Word Processing software (Microsoft Office); Estimating and Operations software (B2W); and Adobe Acrobat (PDF) software on both an iPad and laptop.
• Ability to manage 2 to 5 subordinate Foremen.
• Accountable for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units.
• A successful candidate may be required to directly oversee 1 to 5 non-supervisory employees.
• Responsibilities include employee training, work planning, assigning and directing tasks, performance appraisal, rewarding and disciplining staff, and addressing complaints and resolving issues.
• All Clearwater Construction, Inc. safety policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times – no exceptions.
