
Project Specialist – AI/AN Victim Services Programs

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Alaska.
• Deliver extensive capacity building and compliance support to Alaska Native victim services programs.
• Plan and implement assistance initiatives, including the development and advancement of tailored assistance plans.
• Aid programs in formulating or improving victim services policies and procedures.
• Assist recipients in addressing OJP monitoring challenges and executing corrective measures.
• Assess individual grantee requirements and collaborate with them to implement and monitor progress on customized assistance plans.
• Work closely with grantees to enhance and fortify their crime victim services.
• Create training materials, curriculum, and resources suitable for Alaska Native audiences.
• Lead training sessions, including webinars, peer learning exchanges, and communities of practice.
• Support strategic planning efforts.
• Perform assessments of resources, infrastructure, and capacity within grantee communities.
• Identify and disseminate culturally responsive, trauma-informed practices, resources, and methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent demonstrated experience.
• At least 2 years of experience providing capacity building and/or compliance assistance to Alaska Native communities.
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in victim services.
• Must reside in Alaska.
• Willingness to travel if necessary.
• U.S. citizenship is mandatory as required by federal government contract.
• This role requires a Public Trust security clearance.
