• Serve as the primary sourcing liaison for designated projects from inception to conclusion.
• Collaborate with the Global Commodity Managers (GCM) to align strategic sourcing initiatives with project procurement strategies to meet business objectives.
• Work with stakeholders to establish requirements and synchronize sourcing strategies.
• Attend project meetings to provide updates on procurement status and address sourcing challenges.
• Oversee all Procurement activities related to assigned projects.
• Direct RFx (RFI, RFQ, RFP) procedures and aid in supplier selection and negotiations.
• Manage purchase orders in line with project timelines, financial plans, and delivery specifications.
• Expedite and escalate issues as necessary.
• Ensure procurement decisions adhere to customer-specific standards (e.g., preferred brands, quality benchmarks, documentation necessities) and contractual stipulations.
• Facilitate supplier communication and cultivate relationships throughout the project duration.
• Act as the primary contact for escalations pertaining to procurement or supplier concerns.
• Implement risk management strategies and maintain supply continuity.
• Negotiate commercial terms, including pricing, payment conditions, and service standards.
• Achieve project cost savings by executing sourcing activities such as negotiations and Request for Proposals (RFPs) and implementing sustainable cost controls, including collaboration with Finance to assess the effect of projects and contract negotiations on the general ledger.
• Comprehend the project scope, BOMs (Bill of Materials), timelines, specific customer requirements, and their effects on the sourcing process during the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Legal and Project teams to formulate and finalize supplier contracts.
• Ensure all agreements comply with company policies and minimize risk exposure.
• Assist in the development and improvement of sourcing processes, tools, and systems.
• Maintain precise procurement records and reporting through ERP or procurement platforms.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls, ethical standards, and industry regulations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Over 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing, supply chain management, or procurement.
• Proficient in ERP and procurement systems (INFOR LN, AX).
• Excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to manage relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Demonstrated capability to handle multiple priorities and collaborate across functions.
• Experience with sourcing processes, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, Adobe, and Power BI.
• Strong skills in strategic execution, problem-solving, time management, reporting, and analysis.
