Project Services Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute a diverse array of project and service-related tasks for clients.

• Install, commission, and initiate new systems.

• Provide lifecycle support services.

• Address customer service inquiries promptly.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.

• Act as a subject matter expert for ANDRITZ Products.

• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction for North American product clients.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure technical matters are effectively addressed and resolved in a timely manner.

• Offer regular updates to customers concerning the status of their projects and service inquiries.

• Prepare and uphold technical reports in alignment with project scope or service inquiry specifications.

• Ensure all project and service tasks are completed in accordance with company policies and procedures.

• Engage in training and professional development initiatives to stay current with new products and technologies.


⛳️ Requirements

• Associate's degree in electronics, engineering, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in customer service or technical support roles is required.

• Familiarity with the pulp and paper manufacturing process is preferred, particularly paper machine operations.

• Proficient in PLC Platforms such as Rockwell, Siemens, and/or DCS platforms.

• Experience with data communications links between PLC and DCS (Modbus, OPC, Ethernet IP, etc.) is essential.

• Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with the capability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences effectively.

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities, with a knack for diagnosing and resolving technical issues swiftly and efficiently.

• Background in instrumentation and electrification, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair.

• Capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

• Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel to customer sites as required.
