Project Scientist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.

📋 Description

• Execute field evaluations across a variety of project types.

• Conduct interviews and perform independent research utilizing local, state, and federal resources.

• Create environmental documentation, including Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) reports, and Cultural Resources deliverables.

• Carry out site reconnaissance and sampling operations.

• Assemble and prepare supplementary documentation such as site figures and appendices.

• Ensure that deliverables adhere to quality standards and fulfill project requirements.

• Be prepared to travel to project locations on short notice (usually one week or less) as necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in environmental science, engineering, or a related discipline.

• Minimum of 1 year of professional experience in environmental consulting.
