This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Assist in the execution of frameworks for research portfolio management, documentation standards, reporting structures, and operational processes.
• Facilitate and support project management tasks for research portfolio management and related operational initiatives that assist ORD leadership.
• Create and uphold project plans, action trackers, timelines, milestones, and status reports across various workstreams.
• Organize meetings, monitor action items, assist with follow-ups, and manage communication between leadership, program offices, and field stakeholders.
• Aid in the creation of standardized reporting and tracking systems for research activities and portfolio evaluations.
• Contribute to research portfolio review and analysis tasks, which include data organization, categorization, synthesis, and reporting.
• Help develop standard operating procedures (SOPs), governance documentation, job aids, and initiatives for process enhancement.
• Assist in change management and the implementation of new policies, standards, and operational frameworks.
• Prepare weekly status updates, executive summaries, presentations, and other deliverables for leadership.
• Recognize risks, dependencies, operational gaps, and potential areas for process improvement.
• Assist in optimizing workflows and tracking activities using tools like Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
• A Bachelor’s degree in public health, health administration, business administration, public administration, research administration, life sciences, or a related discipline.
• Over 4 years of experience in supporting research administration, project management, program operations, healthcare operations, or program analysis activities within a complex organization.
• Experience in coordinating projects or operational workstreams that involve multiple stakeholders and intricate policy change initiatives.
• Background in supporting healthcare research operations, research administration, research policy, or related programs.
• Proven ability to independently manage tasks and develop and maintain project tracking tools, reporting systems, or operational dashboards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
• Capability to work autonomously in a remote setting while handling multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Eligibility to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
