Project Manager – Renewable Energy

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Accountable for overseeing renewable energy projects from the point of contract award to completion and client handover.

• Ensure that projects are executed safely, in compliance with regulations, and within the designated timeline.

• Manage subcontractors and coordinate activities on-site.

• Guarantee that projects meet the technical and commercial standards expected of a professional engineering firm.

• Projects typically involve commercial and industrial solar PV installations, large-scale new residential solar developments, as well as other renewable technologies such as biomass and heat pumps.

• A hands-on delivery role that combines site coordination with project management responsibilities.

• Mainly home-based, with regular site visits throughout the UK and occasional trips to the Myriad office in Leicestershire to collaborate with the broader team.

• A degree in a relevant engineering field.

• Proven experience in delivering engineering or construction projects.

• Background in coordinating subcontractors and managing site activities.

• Strong skills in documentation, safety, and compliance disciplines.

• Confident in managing clients, contractors, and other project stakeholders.

• Experience in renewable energy or solar is advantageous but not mandatory.

• Must have the unrestricted right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).

• Willingness to travel to project sites across the UK as needed.
