Project Manager – Heavy Industrial

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado.

📋 Description

• Plan, implement, and oversee distinctive lean manufacturing initiatives involving both clients and internal stakeholders.

• Interpret, comprehend, and carry out projects according to the specifications and scope outlined in the contract documents and the AEH Quality Management System (QMS).

• Provide strong, accountable leadership for internal teams and external vendors, ensuring effective and clear communication.

• Identify, record, and manage approvals for engineering submissions, change orders, risks, and opportunities.

• Ensure ongoing availability of materials and resources to satisfy production timelines and delivery obligations.

• Supervise and manage projects to address material shortages and maintain adherence to contracted timelines.

• Identify, document, and control financial costs and expenditure timelines to authorize and execute projects within the established budget.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in a Project Manager or Scheduler role.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential, particularly with advanced Excel skills.

• Required experience with Microsoft Project scheduling; knowledge of Critical Chain Project Management (CCPM) is advantageous.

• Familiarity with Overhead Crane and EPC practices.

• Exceptional communication skills coupled with positive interpersonal abilities and relationship-building expertise.

• Proven experience managing projects within a ‘lean’ manufacturing setting alongside a QMS.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, keen attention to detail, and excellent organizational and time-management capabilities.

• Capacity to work autonomously or collaboratively within a team environment.
