• Acts as the primary representative of the company and a key partner to clients and collaborators, effectively leading the implementation of both new and ongoing studies.
• Coordinates the creation and execution of new projects.
• Creates, tracks, and reports on project timelines.
• Communicates with clients and collaborators concerning data management, inventory oversight, shipping protocols, and other assigned areas.
• Responds promptly to all relevant events.
• Coordinates the collection of data.
• Prepares and presents project information at both internal and external meetings; generates reports and correspondence for clients, collaborators, and vendors.
• Meets all assigned revenue goals, manages project expenses, and oversees client billing, evaluating contract/project budgets monthly and reporting any unexpected variances to the department director.
• Creates, tracks, and reports pertinent metrics for business and project evaluation.
• Assists senior staff as necessary.
• Identifies out-of-scope project work and escalates findings and action plans to the appropriate parties.
• Efficiently manages all tasks to ensure client expectations are met and exceeded.
• Reviews, updates, and evolves all documentation related to projects to an approvable status.
• Assesses and mitigates technical, project, and business risks.
• Ensures that all work products meet design and performance standards, adhere to regulatory requirements, and fulfill client expectations while enforcing standards applicable to each step of project execution.
• Identifies, resolves, and assists in addressing operational issues.
• Monitors assignments, adjusts priorities and schedules to meet deadlines, and delivers high-quality outcomes. Completes additional tasks as needed to support project, client, and departmental objectives.
• Bachelor's degree in a life science or a related field (e.g., engineering).
• Proven experience as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories in a CRO, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech setting.
• Exceptional listening and communication abilities, with a unique talent for making both internal colleagues and clients feel understood.
• Proficient computer skills with experience in MS Office/MS 365 applications.
• Strong presentation, interpersonal, organizational, and multitasking capabilities, along with outstanding emotional intelligence.
• Solid understanding of project management principles and data analysis.
• Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional research and reporting abilities.
• Excellent judgment and discretion in decision-making.
• Proficient in reading, writing, speaking, and comprehending the English language.
• Willingness to travel both domestically and internationally, including overnight stays (~10-25%).

• Proven experience as a Project Manager for Central Laboratories in a CRO, Pharmaceutical, or Biotech setting.
