This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• The Project Manager undertakes a diverse range of responsibilities that may include some or all of the following:
• Oversee the transition from sales to services and subsequently to customer success for ongoing support.
• Guide the establishment of project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Identify project tasks and the necessary resource requirements.
• Adjust the standard project plan to align with the specifications detailed in the Statement of Work.
• Determine essential project success factors that will be assessed upon project completion.
• In collaboration with the implementation managers, allocate suitable resources to the project plan.
• Ensure that all project team members comprehend the project scope and success criteria.
• Offer guidance and support to the project team.
• Utilize EPM tools to monitor project progress, track plans, work hours, and budgets.
• Implement the project in accordance with the established project plan.
• Conduct weekly project status meetings with the customer's project manager.
• Maintain clear communication with the customer about project expectations.
• Prepare monthly status updates for all key stakeholders, both internal and external.
• Cultivate relationships with the senior leadership team of the hospital.
• Oversee the project budget.
• Manage the allocation of project resources.
• Keep a project issue and risk log, creating mitigation strategies as necessary.
• Review, monitor, and manage project change orders.
• Present reports detailing project progress, challenges, and solutions.
• Monitor and activate appropriate billing milestones as per the signed agreement.
• Facilitate the transition of the project to account management and support once all project deliverables are completed according to the project plan.
• Prepare project completion documents and ensure all required closeout documents are collected.
• Ensure that project deliverables are completed on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
• Assess the outcomes of the project as defined during the planning phase.
• Must possess experience in managing Healthcare IT Projects such as EMR, EHR, or similar systems.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in project management is required.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools is essential.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic planning, change management, and risk assessment.
• Proficient in MS Project and the complete MS Office Suite.
• Knowledge of the Healthcare industry is advantageous.
• Excellent listening and communication abilities are essential.
• Proven capability to work efficiently both independently and within a team environment.
• Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills are necessary.
• A demonstrated willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
• Strong presentation and documentation skills are essential.
