This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Lead client projects from initiation to completion, utilizing agile, scrum, or hybrid methodologies as required by the engagement.
• Create comprehensive project plans detailing scope, timelines, resources, and budget estimates in accordance with SOW deliverables.
• Oversee scope management against the SOW: address discrepancies with clients, influence prioritization decisions, and manage change orders effectively.
• Steer the project schedule and scope while safeguarding engagement economics and preventing budget overruns.
• Manage the internal logistics of an engagement, including budget tracking, forecasting, time tracking inputs, invoicing coordination, and resource alignment with delivery leadership.
• Ensure PM compliance and reporting obligations are met: provide engagement health updates, weekly status reports, conduct sprint reviews, and manage risks and issues.
• Accurately identify and distinguish risks from issues, and know the appropriate times to escalate within the engagement and within NextLink.
• Facilitate the creation of backlogs, ensuring tickets are well-defined, have clear acceptance criteria and estimates, and manage delivery flow through Jira reports and team rituals.
• Cultivate and maintain client trust through dependable delivery and consistent communication; engage in proactive, sometimes challenging, conversations with clients.
• Achieve client business goals, going beyond the specifics of the SOW, and collaborate with Delivery and Sales teams to identify expansion opportunities.
• Observe project teams and provide timely feedback focused on enhancing client value.
• Contribute to the wider NextLink PM practice through improvements in processes, templates, and cross-functional initiatives.
• Over 5 years of professional project management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a client-facing Project Manager position.
• At least 2 years of experience in a consulting or professional services setting.
• Proven track record in managing software or technology engagements with delivery teams of 5 or more members.
• CSM or a similar agile certification is preferred.
• Capability to utilize various project management methodologies (agile, scrum, hybrid) to enhance the client experience.
• Experience in budget management and forecasting for client engagements, including invoicing coordination, time tracking, and ensuring revenue accuracy.
• Strong skills in scope management and negotiating change orders.
• Outstanding organizational abilities to manage multiple concurrent client engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, with the capacity to forge strong client relationships.
• Ability to engage with clients at both business and technical levels.
• Willingness to work overlapping hours with teams based in the US.
