This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.
• Oversee the execution of Communication System Projects, serving as the main point of contact for all assigned project(s).
• Manage all phases of projects for clients, from initiation to completion.
• Responsible for allocating essential resources to achieve project goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Direct and coordinate the activities of the project team.
• Supervise the development of a comprehensive project plan.
• Administer schedules and budgets to guarantee the achievement of objectives.
• Ensure proper management of the three key constraints (quality, cost, and time) that every project faces.
• Use project management tools to analyze complex challenges and formulate solutions for issues related to assigned project(s).
• Maintain direct communication with the customer’s organization and pertinent internal stakeholders by conducting project reviews throughout the project lifecycle.
• Engage in extensive collaboration with sales, systems engineering, product development, and other members of cross-functional teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years of experience in project management or engineering, or 5+ years of relevant experience in project management or engineering.
• Project management certification is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of two-way radio/cellular infrastructure communications products, services, and systems.
• Experience in the technology industry, particularly in one of the following areas, is highly desirable: Public Safety communications systems, Military communications, Enterprise Software, or IT Networks.
• Familiarity with local public safety customers, such as police, fire, and emergency medical services, is an advantage.
• Solid understanding of all areas of PMBOK project management.
• Proven track record of delivery in a large, complex enterprise environment.
• Proficient in computer use; experience with project management software and other common business applications.
• Excellent communication abilities and the capacity to build and sustain business relationships with various internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, capable of working in a fast-paced environment and managing multiple deadlines and priorities.
• Customer service-oriented with a positive “can do” attitude.
