Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Accountable for the planning, organization, monitoring, and management of core software conversions for the credit union, along with various information technology projects until their completion.

• Guarantees that projects fulfill or surpass technical specifications, customer expectations, policies, budgets, and timelines.

• Assembles and leads a project team, coordinating and assigning tasks to team members.

• Executes these duties with necessary guidance from management.

• Keeps management well-informed about ongoing activities in the area, including potential risks, issues, and concerns.

• Provides administrative support for Corelation initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Spearhead the planning and execution of projects.

• Create conversion project plans and establish conversion timelines.

• Monitor project deliverables using appropriate tools.

• Offer support and guidance to project teams.

• Function independently in a fast-paced environment under strict deadlines, managing multiple tasks and addressing issues.

• Travel to client locations for project initiation and conversion processes.

• Carry out additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Two to four years of relevant experience is required.

• Two to four years of project management experience is preferred.

• One to two years of experience in credit unions, banking, or financial technology is preferred.

• A college degree in a non-technical field, or (2) multi-craft skills obtained through extensive on-the-job training or apprenticeship programs, or (3) comprehensive industry and job-specific technical skills acquired through a combination of formal education and practical training.

• PMP certification is preferred.
