This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Collaborate with Account Managers to assess customer requirements, design, and present optimal solutions.

• Take full ownership of proposal development from inception to completion, utilizing information from Account Managers to define project scopes and deliver formal proposals for customer evaluation.

• Analyze customer-provided scopes and/or formal Requests for Proposal (RFPs).

• Create project counts and takeoffs to develop material Bill of Materials (BOM) and labor scopes.

• Coordinate with third-party vendors and subcontractors to obtain pricing, lead times, and project timelines for proposals.

• Collaborate with third-party professional engineering partners for preliminary engineering designs that address customer needs in specific locations and scopes.

• Lead Proposal-to-Project transition meetings with Project Managers, reviewing proposal scopes, customer deliverables, budgets, and potential risks.

• Work closely with the internal drafting and design team to create and revise design drawings as necessary to support proposals.

• Assist the project management team with the generation and submission of Sales Order Forms to the Project Coordinator team for material-only orders.

• Aid the Implementation team by managing internal reporting and budgeting tools, including updates on vendor lead times, vendor portals, quick-ship inventories, internal estimator tool updates, and budget pricing tool updates, while maintaining vendor-specific documents and folders.

• Conduct risk management strategies to mitigate project risks.

• Build and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.

• Follow company proposal protocols, ensuring the use of the latest tools and formatting standards.

• Engage in internal projects as necessary.

• Exceptional attention to detail with the capability to manage critical deadlines.

• Proficient in multitasking, prioritizing, and executing tasks effectively.

• Experience in both independent work and collaborative team environments is crucial.

• Ability to navigate solution design and vendor pricing discussions with both internal and external partners.

• Technically skilled and proficient with various software applications including Excel, Word, Outlook, AutoCAD, and Smartsheet.

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities: including in-person meetings, emails, and phone calls.

• Must possess the capability to learn, understand, and apply new technologies.

• Strong technical acumen, with a solid understanding of industry systems, including complex integrated systems and components.

• BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience.

• 1-2 years of experience as an Estimator or relevant experience in project management or sales support roles.
