Project Engineer, SCADA and Controls Systems

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Oversee and/or independently carry out engineering activities.

• Collaborate with the Engineering Manager and Project Managers to manage both internal and external resources to achieve project deadlines. Assess and evaluate engineering service proposals.

• Conduct quality reviews of the work completed by assigned personnel; identify, analyze, and address quality concerns both internally and externally on projects.

• Oversee and manage the creation, distribution, resolution, and closure of requests for information, technical inquiry forms, and transmittals/submittals.

• Engage in the preparation of proposals and scope development, which includes initial designs, execution plans, engineering/project cost assessments, and timelines.

• Coordinate technical activities and designs with colleagues from other disciplines and departments within the local office.

• Offer leadership, training, and mentorship to junior engineers and team members.

• Provide temporary field support during construction phases.

• Perform any other tasks as required by management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or another relevant technical field.

• A minimum of three years of engineering experience in developing solar projects within a dynamic environment.

• Proficient in AutoCAD.

• Experience in project management is advantageous.
