This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois, +2 more states.
• Participate in various engineering tasks and provide approvals for project plans related to gas transmission and natural gas pipeline initiatives.
• Obtain technical guidance on new design matters and work closely with senior engineers on assigned projects.
• Collaborate with Project Managers and Unit Leaders to advance intricate engineering designs.
• Aid in proposal preparation by estimating the necessary engineering hours.
• Ensure adherence to quality control systems and incorporate complex technical information into designs.
• Support small, medium, and large multi-disciplinary projects.
• Oversee the activities of engineers, drafters, and designers.
• Conduct complex technical analyses and disseminate information within the team.
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, structural, or civil engineering from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in the pipeline industry or a related field.
• Experience with gas facilities and/or compressor stations.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License required.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
