Project Engineer 4 – Nuclear QA/ASME Sect III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Assist in company/client projects by representing quality assurance during the planning and execution of project tasks.

• Serve as the primary liaison between the QA team and both internal and external stakeholders.

• Comprehend and convey project quality requirements effectively.

• Ensure that quality requirements are documented and communicated to suppliers.

• Oversee cross-functional quality interactions between the project team and management.

• Offer insights and assistance on quality and process-related solutions.

• Address customer Requests for Information promptly.

• Create a quality requirements traceability matrix and integrate it into project activities.

• Manage unique, first-of-a-kind issues and adapt to evolving business development conditions.

• Identify and resolve project-related challenges, escalating issues within the organization when necessary.

• Provide guidance and coordinate project-related tasks through quality leads, supervisors, and managers.

• Design and maintain processes essential for the efficient execution of quality activities.

• Support project risk assessments and risk mitigation strategies.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of a Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field from an accredited college or university.

• At least 8 years of experience in quality assurance with diverse responsibilities.

• Familiarity with ASME NQA-1, 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, and 10 CFR 21 is required.

• Previous experience as a quality lead for large, complex projects.

• Experience in developing requirement traceability matrices.

• Strong technical writing capabilities.

• Excellent communication, computer, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

• Exceptional organizational abilities.

• Capability to manage complex projects with multiple phases.

• Eligibility to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.
