Project Consultant

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Lead critical accounting and finance initiatives for mid-market to large-scale clients

• Act as Interim Controller and manage financial operations

• Oversee accounting tasks, transactions, and monthly closing processes

• Prepare and evaluate financial statements, budgets, and forecasts

• Establish and monitor internal controls to ensure regulatory compliance

• Direct special projects including system transitions, audit preparations, and mergers & acquisitions financial integrations

• Potentially supervise staff based on client requirements

• Work autonomously while collaborating with client teams

• Analyze complex scenarios and devise effective solutions

• Travel frequently and unpredictably based on client demands

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related disciplines

• Background in working with complex, multi-entity organizations

• Outstanding problem-solving abilities

• Strong self-motivation and proactive approach in uncertain situations

• Proficient in accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, or SAP

• Skilled in data analysis tools

• Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization

• Capable of passing comprehensive criminal, credit, education, certification, and reference background checks

• Able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience is preferred

• CPA or equivalent certification is preferred
