This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in District of Columbia, +1 more state.
• Oversee the integration and distribution of data for the Small Spacecraft Technology (SST) Program.
• Offer information management assistance for the SST Program.
• Create and maintain systems for SST that store and organize data.
• Manage, categorize, store, and analyze both programmatic and technical data along with data products.
• Distribute data to external stakeholders to facilitate communication regarding program successes, challenges, and lessons learned.
• Organize weekly SST meetings to gather, update, and rectify program data.
• Monitor incoming proposals and ensure accurate data entry into a database.
• Provide support for technical writing and Section 508 compliance.
• Evaluate database performance and suggest modifications and improvements.
• Address data conflicts concerning naming conventions, data privacy, and ownership.
• Identify, outline, and assess specifications and structures for database management systems.
• Develop and implement policies pertaining to data security, integrity, and access.
• Create training documentation and guidelines for analysts and end users.
• Stay updated on trends in database management systems and related technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree, ideally in a technical discipline.
• 6 years of relevant experience.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Outstanding organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Robust analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Must possess experience in one or more of the following: Power Automate, Python, SQL, API usage, Data Visualization (e.g., PowerBI or Tableau).
• Experience with ETL & Data Modeling is preferred.
• Capability to design, test, search, and secure databases, as well as extract, transform, model, and load data.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
