This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +11 more states.
• Act as the primary Government point of contact while overseeing and directing personnel involved in the project.
• Manage relationships with both clients and contractors.
• Create project plans, coordinate cross-functional teams, and produce Project Work Statements, schedules, and budgets.
• Collaborate with technical IT subject matter experts.
• Inspire and guide project team members.
• Recognize and address program and project risks.
• Organize and structure the management of a complex environment.
• Implement corrective measures when performance does not meet expectations.
• Delegate responsibilities to supporting facilities, business sectors, and support functions.
• Track and evaluate program and project performance.
• Oversee multiple concurrent projects.
• Assist in the recruitment, selection, performance management, development, and retention of both management and technical personnel.
• Ensure the scope and profitability of fixed-price projects are maintained.
• Contribute to strategic planning, scheduling, resource allocation, and the development of technical and clinical Project Work Statements.
• Manage HIT professionals to help them achieve their deliverables.
• Mentor and nurture employees to surpass their objectives.
• Review and validate timesheets and Paid Time Off (PTO) requests.
• Facilitate team meetings and promote effective communication.
• Conduct performance management and ensure timely performance reviews.
• Take part in hiring committees, assess candidates, conduct interviews, and select new employees.
• Organize onboarding processes for new hires.
• A minimum of 15 years of relevant project management or business and Federal contracting experience is required.
• 6–9 years of experience in managing multiple simultaneous projects valued at $1M or more.
• Demonstrated experience in managing Healthcare Information Technology projects.
• At least 2 years of familiarity with SAFe Scaled Agile Framework methodology.
• Proficient with Power BI dashboards for project management purposes.
• Must have experience overseeing multiple multi-million-dollar programs.
• Well-versed in PMBOK, project management methodologies, and in tracking costs, schedules, and performance metrics.
• PMP certification is mandatory.
• Lean Six Sigma Green/Black Belt certification is a plus.
• Experience with the Veteran's Health Administration is preferred.
• Advanced proficiency with MS 365 applications, including MS Teams, Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint, Planner, and Outlook.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully virtual technical environment using virtual meetings, portals, and cloud storage tools.
• Exceptional professional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong interpersonal abilities.
• Capacity to effectively manage senior and subject matter expert-level personnel.
• Must reside in one of the hiring states: AZ, CO, FL, GA, ID, IL, MD, MI, SC, TX, VA, WI, or WV.
• High-speed internet connection is required.
• A Master's degree, or a Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of relevant experience, or an Associate's degree plus 4 years of relevant experience in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare IT, Business, or a related scientific or technical field.
• A Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of experience can be considered equivalent to a Master's degree.
• An Associate's degree plus 4 years of experience is also equivalent to a Master's degree.
• 100% virtual work arrangement.
• High-speed internet connection is required.
• Relocation expenses are not covered.
