This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +1 more state.
β’ Take ownership of Project Execution, from Contract Handoff to Final Delivery (Core).
β’ Serve as the primary operational lead for the delivery pods under your responsibility, guiding each program from intake through staffing, execution, quality review, and customer sign-off.
β’ Assemble and coordinate project teams effectively.
β’ Develop project plans, staffing models, timelines, communication strategies, and risk mitigation plans.
β’ Oversee project performance, utilization, throughput, quality metrics, and budget adherence.
β’ Manage Customer Relationships and Delivery Milestones.
β’ Handle customer expectations and delivery milestones throughout the entire engagement lifecycle.
β’ Facilitate internal project meetings, status reviews, and customer-facing reporting schedules.
β’ Identify opportunities for expansion and present operational enhancements to leadership.
β’ Create Quality and Operational Systems.
β’ Define what constitutes 'good' for the programs you oversee, along with the quality controls and QA processes that evaluate it.
β’ Establish annotation and human-data quality standards that are consistent, auditable, and considerate to the workforce involved.
β’ Develop scalable operational systems that enhance project visibility, quality, or throughput across the Human Data team.
β’ Gather Inputs from Customers and Delivery Teams.
β’ Collaborate with pre-sales and customer-facing teams to convert customer requirements into actionable delivery plans.
β’ Incorporate front-line delivery insights into capacity planning and deliberate operational improvement.
β’ Transform your findings into systematic enhancements rather than temporary fixes.
β’ Act as the Connective Tissue. Ensure alignment among Human Data, QA, Engineering, Product, Research, and Customer Success regarding project deliverables and their underlying rationale. Facilitate communication across operational, technical, and commercial viewpoints to enable informed trade-offs.
β’ A minimum of 5 years of experience in program management, project delivery, operations leadership, or a related field.
β’ Proven experience in managing large-scale human data, annotation, evaluation, trust & safety, research operations, or expert-driven workflows.
β’ Experience in leading distributed teams comprised of contractors, reviewers, annotators, experts, or QA personnel.
β’ Background in managing customer-facing programs involving executive stakeholders.
β’ Experience working in startup or high-growth environments.
β’ PMP, PgMP, CAPM, Agile, Scrum, Lean, or equivalent project management certification is highly preferred.
β’ Familiarity with AI safety, LLM evaluation, red teaming, human-in-the-loop systems, or trust & safety operations.
β’ Experience in building scalable operational systems and quality management processes.
